Personality: Big Five study lens
ZVBible includes a Big Five culture pack (big-five) under Globe → Culture packs → Personality (study lens).
What it is
Original study notes that use five broad trait dimensions often discussed in personality research (sometimes called the Big Five or OCEAN):
| Letter | Trait (ordinary scientific name) | Plain gloss used in the pack |
|---|---|---|
| O | Openness | Curiosity / comfort with novelty and abstract ideas |
| C | Conscientiousness | Order, diligence, planfulness |
| E | Extraversion | Social energy and outward engagement (vs lower extraversion) |
| A | Agreeableness | Warmth, cooperation, conflict-avoidance tendencies |
| N | Neuroticism | Emotional reactivity (sensitivity to stress, worry, shame)—not a clinical diagnosis |
The pack maps those tendencies onto the same 15 culture themes as other packs (hospitality, speech, authority, suffering, etc.), with Scripture alignments and careful differences.

What it is not
- Not a personality test or quiz (no items, no scores, no “your type is…”)
- Not medical or clinical diagnosis
- Not hiring or fitness-for-ministry judgment
- Not MBTI® / Myers-Briggs®, CliftonStrengths®, DiSC® product content, or any commercial inventory
- Not a substitute for knowing a person in love
Commercial assessments and trademarks stay out of the pack on purpose (Public Domain / free-use product posture).
How to use (pastoral)
- Download Big Five on Globe; drag it in Display order if you want it first among notes.
- On Cultures, pick a topic and compare with other installed packs (e.g. Western or Gen Z).
- On Fellowship, verse-linked themes from installed culture packs (including Big Five) appear under the verse in display order.
- Adapt pace and care; still call every heart to the same gospel and fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22-23).
Never use the pack to label an individual. Traits are continuous tendencies, not boxes.
Legal / content notes (summary)
- Safe for this product: original prose using ordinary Big Five trait names; shared Scripture verse maps; optional future IPIP public-domain items only if explicitly attributed (not currently embedded).
- Avoid: MBTI® branding or type codes; copying commercial questionnaire items or vendor manuals.
